From the Principal

 Welcome back
Hello Cougars,
My name is Amber Fante and since 2017, I have had the privilege of serving as the principal for the Schwarzkoff Elementary community. I am so excited to welcome our families to the 21-22 school year.  This year is very special as once again our staff and students are coming to the school campus every single day.   And each day as your student walks in the door, our staff leans into our mission to dream, believe, and achieve for our school.  The 21-22 school year represents the first year that we have reimagined our mission and vision statements.  You will hear me continuously talking about these three key words as they are the guiding principals for all our work with your students.  Why does dreaming matter?  When we use the word, “dream” at Schwarzkoff we hold our hands in the peak a mountain to represent the possibilities of student achievement.  We desire that all students set mountain top goals. Why does belief matter?  The word believe means to “be confident” and “offer support”.  It is not enough to tell students, “Hey, you're awesome.” Instead, we must recognize that all of us “stumble” at one point or another, but greatness comes when we are there to help each other.  And on this great trek up the mountain of student achievement, we recognize that not everyone goes at the same pace.  Sometimes we climb with great speed and at other times we can only crawl with painstaking effort, but when we move together, we all are rising, ascending upwards to the peak of endless opportunity.  Please join me in this journey as together we, DREAM, BELIEVE, and ACHIEVE for our Cougars.
